At a glance
- Hartype Pro comes as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices are as shown in the App Store.
- Your subscription renews automatically and is charged to your Apple Account unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel any time in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
- The keyboard and on-device features are always free. Daily AI uses expire at the end of the day and do not carry over.
These terms form part of the Terms of Use and apply when you buy and use a Hartype Pro subscription (“Pro”). Please read them carefully before you buy, especially the auto-renewal clauses.
1. Pro benefits
With Pro, your Hartype account gets:
- More daily AI uses: reply, polish, translate and screenshot reply share one daily allowance; the exact number is shown on the purchase page;
- Pro personas: use any official persona marked Pro whenever you like; the free tier gets only a few trials a day, as shown in the app;
- Your own personas: create, edit and use personas of your own under My AI Personas. When Pro ends, the personas you created are kept and you can still view and delete them, but you can’t edit or use them until you subscribe again;
- Not quite right? Get another: ask the AI to regenerate; each regeneration counts as one use, and failed generations are never counted;
- Shared across devices: every device signed in to the same Hartype account shares your Pro benefits and daily allowance.
The keyboard and on-device features are always free and are not part of Pro. The free tier can use AI features too, with fewer daily uses. Daily uses reset at midnight in your account’s time zone, expire at the end of the day, and do not carry over.
We may add new Pro benefits. If existing benefits are materially reduced, we will tell you in the app in advance, and the change will not affect the subscription period you have already paid for.
2. Plans and prices
- Pro is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions, bought through Apple App Store in-app purchase.
- The price is the amount shown in the App Store at the time of purchase and may differ by country or region. The “per month” figure and savings shown for the annual plan are calculated from the two plans’ actual prices, for your reference only.
- You need to be signed in to a Hartype account to buy. Benefits are granted to the account signed in at the time.
3. Auto-renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the same price as your current plan.
- If the subscription price changes, Apple will notify you in advance under its rules; price increases usually require your consent before they apply.
- If a renewal payment fails, Apple may provide a grace period during which you keep Pro benefits, and the app will prompt you to update your payment method. If payment still fails when the grace period ends, the subscription ends.
4. How to cancel
You can turn off auto-renewal at any time:
- On iPhone, open Settings → your name (Apple Account) → Subscriptions → Hartype and tap Cancel Subscription;
- Or tap Manage Subscription on the Pro page in the Hartype app to go to App Store subscription management.
After you cancel, Pro benefits continue until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. Deleting the app or your Hartype account does not cancel your App Store subscription. Be sure to cancel it in your Apple Account.
5. Restoring purchases and changing devices
- After changing devices or reinstalling the app, sign in to the same Hartype account and your Pro benefits sync automatically;
- If benefits aren’t restored automatically, tap Restore Purchases on the Pro page to relink them to the active subscription on your current Apple Account;
- Benefits may take a moment to sync after payment. Please don’t buy again. If they still haven’t arrived after a while, tap Restore Purchases or contact us.
6. Refunds
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so refunds must be requested through Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, or choose Report a Problem in your App Store purchase history. Apple decides whether to refund, and how much, under its own policies. If Apple issues a refund, the corresponding Pro benefits are revoked.
7. Other
- If your use of the Service is terminated for breaching the Terms of Use, fees already paid are not refunded, unless the law provides otherwise.
- If we stop offering Pro, we will announce it in the app in advance and handle unexpired subscriptions as required by law.
- If these terms are provided in more than one language and the versions conflict, the Chinese version prevails.
- For any questions about these terms, email support@hartype.com.
